Jim Brooker
Founder & President
With over 20 years of experience in manufacturing, Jim has dedicated his career to helping companies enhance their operational efficiencies and transform existing capabilities into strategic core competencies. His work often involves designing and building custom workcells to deliver the competitive advantage organizations need. Over the years, Jim has worked with renowned companies such as Motorola, Continental, Robert Bosch, and Otis Technology.
In 2004, Jim began his tenure at Motorola near Buffalo, NY, as a Senior Equipment Engineer. Among his notable achievements was leading a $7.5 million automated manufacturing line expansion and implementing numerous upgrades to legacy equipment. Following the facility's closure in 2009, Jim joined Otis Technology as a Process Engineering Manager. He was quickly promoted to Director of Engineering and later Vice President of Research and Development. During his time at Otis, Jim not only spearheaded the development of new products but also designed custom automation systems to cost-effectively manufacture these products.
In 2023, Jim transitioned full-time to Starlight MFG Solutions, where he now provides comprehensive manufacturing engineering support to various industries.
Jim holds a Bachelor of Science in Manufacturing Engineering and a Master of Science in Manufacturing Systems Integration from the Rochester Institute of Technology in Rochester, NY.
