Relationship building to identify other opportunity for improvement.

During my time in senior leadership positions, I spent many hours in the boardroom discussing project updates and strategic plans.  The issue was this created little value since the information that was presented was inherently out of date.  How could we provide a way to give real time updates to keep projects on track?  A cloud-based project and data management platform does just that.  We utilize Basecamp for this purpose.  Easy to use for a large range of team members, allows for daily updates to keep projects on track.  This is also not directly linked to employee performance.  If they have an impediment we need that to be identified quickly.  

After 8 years as a Vice President of Engineering and 20 years in manufacturing I’ve learned poor communication is a leading source of waste in organizations. After all, project tracking is either done poorly or not at all. If it is done, its completed all at once before a status meeting. Let your team focus on creating value and we’ll facilitate the needed communication and milestone management. This will also help identify additional improvements in the future.
